Tax planning is a twelve-month job, and should incorporate the various aspects of the financial planning process. A constant eye on tax issues can frequently reduce the impact taxes have on a retirement plan. We identify and recommend tax vehicles that provide the greatest benefit to our clients. Moreover, we work with clients and their tax preparers to minimize tax burden. Every year we harvest losses to offset taxable gains, which minimizes our clients’ tax bills. We also simplify and reduce the administrative cost and difficulty of tax preparation by providing detailed realized gain and loss information.
