Net Worth Advisory Group recently received the Craig Rollins award from Utah Valley University's financial planning program. The award is given "For the practitioner in the community that is passionate about helping the personal financial planning students through offering internships, support for events, hiring after graduation, and creating a lasting impact on the UVU Personal Financial Planning program."

Neal Hansen, CFP® joined Net Worth Advisory Group because he strongly believes in the firm’s mission to significantly improve the lives of clients by delivering exemplary financial planning and wealth management advice. Also, Neal holds the same Net Worth core values of being client-centered, charitable, relationship-focused, trusted, and constantly improving. Neal received his bachelor’s degree from Utah Valley University in Personal Financial Planning, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and received the programs, “Most Outstanding Student Award”. He recently moved from Arizona where he worked for Vanguard as a financial advisor for the last 5 years. Personally, Neal is married and has 3 kids. Outside of the office, he loves basketball and football, and is a big fan of the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Cardinals.

NWAG adds Amy Poulson as Client Interface Specialist- 9/2021
Amy joined our team as the office manager in September 2021. She has 15 years of office management and EA experience. Amy attended both Brigham Young University and the University of Utah where she majored in English Lit. Amy has three busy daughters and spends much of her time outside of work attending dance and drill competitions and golf tournaments. In her free time, Amy enjoys traveling, hiking, backpacking, trail runs, writing, and painting.
NWAG starts the Lon Jefferies Scholarship at Utah Valley University- 8/2021
We are excited to announce that Net Worth will be funding an annual scholarship at Utah Valley University in the name of Lon Jeffries our late and beloved former financial advisor. The scholarship will be offered to those enrolled in the Personal Financial Planning Program in the Woodbury School of Business. We feel this will be a wonderful way to remember and honor Lon while supporting the PFP program at Utah Valley University. We are excited for the scholarship recipients to learn about Lon and understand what an amazing and remarkable person and financial planner he was.
McKenna Jacobsen CFP- 12/2020
Net Worth would like to congratulate McKenna Jacobsen on becoming a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). McKenna sat for and passed the CFP exam in November 2020 and reached all of the requirements for the designation in December 2020.
Greg Simmons becomes an Owner- 1/2020
Net Worth Advisory Group is pleased to announce that Greg Simmons, CFP has become an owner, member and manager of Net Worth Advisory Group. Greg will assume the role of Chief Operating Officer and will be responsible for overseeing all operations pertaining to Net Worth. Greg has been with Net Worth since 2010 where he began his career in client services. Greg earned his Certified Financial Planner – CFP designation in 2015 and has been advising clients ever since. Greg has been an integral part of Net Worth’s growth and success over the last decade. David W. Net Worth employee, McKenna Jacobsen, wins National Financial Planning Competition- 4/2019
While attending Utah Valley University, McKenna’s Jacobsen’s professors asked her and two other students to be a part of the FPA Financial Planning Challenge. The three students were given a case study and asked to create a comprehensive financial plan. No software or outside help was allowed. Their plan was one of eight in the nation chosen to move on to the next stage of the competition. McKenna and her two teammates were flown to Minneapolis where they presented their financial plan to a panel of judges, as well as to an audience of professionals from around the nation. The team also competed in Quiz Bowl. The quiz bowl consisted of questions found on past CFP exams. McKenna’s team won the bowl and later learned they won the challenge, making them the national champs. They received a personal scholarship as well as a scholarship for UVU. Congratulations McKenna!
